Setting your timezone is quick and easy.
We make use of Twitter as a messaging platform, so you don't need an account here, but you will need to be a Twitter member to use MyTimeZoneIs.
If you don't already already have a Twitter account you can create one here.
If you don't know your time zone. You can lookup the timezone here.
Just use the following format when you post a Twitter update to set your time zone:
@mytimezoneis <my_timezone>
For example:
@mytimezoneis America/New_York
Replace America/New_York with your time zone.
That is it! In a few minutes the MyTimeZoneIs server will check for you twitter message and update your timezone.
You can link to your page on MyTimeZoneIs.com to allow people to easily check your timezone.
http://www.mytimezoneis.com/people/<twitterusername>
For example:
http://www.mytimezoneis.com/people/suffolksoftware
If you have a website you can embeded the MyTimeZoneIs widget into your blog to make it even easier for people to find out what time zone your in.
We embeded a widget here so you can see what this looks like.
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://widgets.mytimezoneis.com/widgets/suffolksoftware"></script>
